Subject: Request for Tuesday, May 26 meeting re: Data Center Moratorium

Dear Commissioner [Name],

It's my understanding that the Commissioners will be considering a moratorium on Data Centers and Battery Storage stations for Precinct 4 at your Tuesday, May 26 meeting.

For the public record, I urge that you consider extending that moratorium to Precinct [#], and all of Tom Green County.
It is vital that the entire county be treated the same.

I understand that this may have little impact on projects being proposed for the city, but we must have ample discussions with citizens regarding any massive scale projects of this nature before agreeing to provide access to our essential resources.
We must fully understand the true environmental impact they will have, as well as potential economic benefits.

Please support extending the moratorium on Data Centers and Battery Storage stations to all of Tom Green County.

Thank you,

Other Topics To Consider:

 - Negative health impacts from data centers
- Closed-Loop cooling systems aren't really closed: concerns about toxins, blow-downs, and PFAS
- Concerns about electricity increase and the data center contribution to that problem
- Noise pollution and potential environmental and heath consequences
